Known the world over for its incredible architecture and historic museums, and SWMBO having no interest in visiting this one in particular just off Old Town Square in downtown Prague, Mr. Big joined me for a rather invigorating visit including, predictably, some time in the gift shop. Since it was a much better deal, we went for the three-day pass which included, among other things, the upgraded gift catalog and special coupons for use with some of the interactive exhibits.

Guys, be careful. If you try one of those machines, you might end up looking like the mummy.

There were many devices from medieval times. Instead of batteries, think of hand cranks and foot pedals. I couldn't believe all the creative uses they got out of an egg beater.

Maybe it's just me, but when I start using foot pedals and hand cranks, my mind wanders and I start to lose interest.

It shouldn't be that surprising. Almost all new technology is first explored by our most basic instincts, reproduction and survival. Sex and war.
