I'll let the neck settle and pull a shim and restring at the weekend. It's a beautiful instrument AJ | ||

Took a little getting used to, but it forces my left hand into the correct position for clean fingerstyle. BTW, I had JB put a carved TRC on mine when I sent it up for a spa session. If you like that look, he can probably send you one. | ||

But I don't think this guitar has been played much. It should open up a lot more if you give it some consistent work-out. Removing a shim is probably not necessary, it will sound (ring!) much better the way it is. I'm glad you are happy! | ||
