Location: Battle Creek, MI | Does anyone know if i can swap out my op pro for the op pro studio preamp. And, if so, where to purchase the studio preamp. |

Location: Utah | Yes, I've done that in my 6778LX. The pin spacing is identical so it will just drop into the can. If you want to add the XLR jack to your guitar it is possible if you are careful to cut the holes in the right place. I can't remember if the OpPro can has the correct jacks in it for the XLR board, so you migbht have to also swap cans, which takes literally one minute. Super easy to swap cans.
I bought a Studio from Al. It came with a new can and the XLR board with the cable. It is everything you need to do an install into any guitar, minus a pickup. All you must do with your OpPro Ovation is drop the Studio into your existing can. |

Location: Utah | Call Al. The list is $299 if I recall, but he sells it for less than that.
Which guitar are you putting it in? I'm sure you'll like the Studio in anything. I put the Studio in my 2007 Collector and really like it in there. |
