I'm trying to find the chords, but more so the Tabs, for two songs my Dad used to sing and I can't find 'em:
1st: A Thing Called Love by Jerry Reed. I have the chords but I really want the tabs and I don't have the ability to hear it and play it right. Videos of him playing don't really show what he's doing and a neat video I have of Glen Campbell playing the song on an Elite with Jerry Reed playing in the background again, isn't too clear either though the version is great.
2nd: Faith of a Man by Glen Campbell. I can't even find the chords for this one, but I did find the words. I had always thought the title was Pity a Man because that's the chorus; Pity a man 'cause he don't know the troubles he'll pass going down life's road.....
Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Michael, you might try asking about "A Thing Called Love" over on the Chet Board. If the tab is available anywhere, someone over there will direct you to it.

Michael, I can help you with A Thing Called Love is you can give me to this weekend. The way Campbell plays the riff is not the way Reed plays it. Both sound good. I do Reed's version.

As to the other one, never learned it.

Thank you both.
Moody, I've got nothin' but time, gonna be here in the sandbox for 10 more months or so.
HA HA HA
I'll shoot you an e-mail here in a few.
Campbell always spruces stuff up but I like both versions too. I was hoping more for Jerry Reed's version as it is.
Thanks again!

Michael, The 2nd song you're looking for is called "Fate Of Man" written by Glen and is on his Wichita Lineman album (CD)

It's a great song.....Send me your email and give me a bit to rework it in Word, and I'll send you a Word doc. of the lyrics and chords...

email me at langfo2002@earthlink.net

Dang, that's right, Fate of a Man.
Forgive me, I'm in the middle of changing to the other shift so I was staying up to get into the sleep schedule.
I've actually never heard Glen's version, I'm gonna have to get that CD now so I can hear it.
I'll send yo my e-mail in a bit.
Thank you!
