They must've gotten their green cards.

Free healthcare? Boy, I'd be smiling too!

Although I imagine they take home more than I gross, I know that healthcare will never be free for me...

Aw... Don't even go there. Poor people have Always had free health care.
When I lived on the street, I'd just walk into a hospital. Get a free meal while I was at it.
They don't even bother making you fill-out forms... You're gonna lie anyway.
I haven't seen a doctor since I got off the streets five years ago. And I've been sick too.
Just go down and buy some OTC medicine and deal with it.

Now that I have become 'a responsible, productive, member of society' I got nothing coming!

They don't need no stinkin' green cards! Just ask around in your local medical community and find out what's really happening. Or better yet, go to an ER...

SWMBO is just finishing a month's worth of radiation treatment for a brain tumor. The daily zap takes less time than a dental xray, but the bill for the first week was $13000. So some of us get to pay a ton for insurance, then we pay a ton for the cost that isn't covered, then we pay higher bills because they charge us extra to pay for the "free" health care and a bunch of extra taxes to pay for the free health care. OK, I'm starting to sound political, but I'm not trying to be.

I live in an apartment. No garden, no trees, no bushes. Heck, not even some flowers on the dinner table.

Guitars and amps everywhere.

Go figure.

I'm still doing the grass and sidewalk trimming. Last Saturday was a particularly nice day because there was some type of women's distance race going on across the street in the park. Maybe a thousand very physically fit women running by in little jogging outfits. SMWBO later asked why it took two hours to complete what is typically a half-hour job. I told her I needed to start spending more time in the front yard.
