| My first guitar! Or one just like it on page 98 of the current issue of "Acoustic Guitar". This one is a 66, mine was earlier, but it's my old Stella alright.
Someone put a pickup on this example and bolted down the bridge, but there it is, sunburst (which is why I dislike bursts to this day) flat fingerboard, tuners that creaked when you turned them and a screwed down white pick guard. You could shoot arrows with it if you wanted and the feathers wouldn't touch the frets.
I fought with that thing and even hated it, but somehow I learned to play. Musta been the "Steel Reinforced Neck". |
