Looking for recommendations for a new 12. I now it is subjective, but I'd like to pick some brains ( not too much) I don't want to cause a melt down. Mix of figerpicking and flat picking, folk style, Denver, Chapin, Croce, Kingston trip and the like.... Let's hear your ideas. Ummmmmmmm no Adamas, just don't have the budget.... Steve

Restrung, it really puts out sound. It's only 12 frets, but that's o.k.; my hands don't have the mojo to barre a 12 up that high, anyway. The neck is in great shape (when it comes to twisting or bowing), but it does need new frets, so if you get an older one, watch out for that. --Karen

One with inlaid eppies and the other bone stock, both in pristine condition. Not sure which one I want to keep yet, maybe both. I'll know more when I get back home and get to A B them. I originally had a pacemaker (or 4) and really loved the sound,...till I got a 1758. To me the 1758 sounds fuller, although I do like the slot head look of the 12 fretter.
