Did they make left-handed Patriots with the stencil on the opposite side?

I guess I could convert it back to a righty, since all it needs is a new top and neck. Looks like it had the electronics, too. Really a rare one.

You might be able to get a good artist to paint one on. But to me, this looks like a parts guitar. It's a shame.

They destroyed the stencil. That's why mine has a couple of finish cracks. Keeping the stencil was more important to me than fixing the finish cracks.

I think it looks pretty cool as is. I'd just hang it in the studio and let the conversations begin.

Doing any "restoration" I think would ruin what it is...

I agree with Miles. I'd hang it as is and suggest to visitors that maybe it actually went through a war.

I'd go for it, but did you notice that the guy wants $75 for shipping?!?!?!?

Guess he's figuring he won't get much via the purchase, and wants to get it from shipping!

That keeps me away.

I noticed that, too, Alan. Makes about as much sense as his comment that it could be fixed up like new.

Well, at least you wouldn't have to worry about shipping damage. I suppose the 75 bucks includes insurance. :D

I see we drove the bid up to $1.04. How much would you pay to insure a guitar that you paid $1.04 for?

I don't insure guitars that I am shipping for what the buyer paid for it...
I insure them for what they are Worth!

So I would insure it for $5000! Then say, "Look what you guys did to my guitar!"

I suppose whatever stories it could tell would be more like nightmares. I hope that the "awakening" will be a pleasant one.
Maybe one of our Bottom Feeders will take pity on the poor thing.....
