With the arrival of the 1718-6p on Monday (surviving the UPS forklift), my search and quest to complete the -6p Trifecta is finally complete...nearly 22 years after I started with the 1758-6p.

This is a sweet guitar: slim neck w/pronounced V ; great action; and in near mint condition as are the other two: 1868-6p and 1758-6p. Strung on a new set of EJ-16's after cutting off the blackened set upon the guitar's arrival. It plays and sounds wonderful: loud and clear w/ great OP-24 preamp like I personally like...It's awesome!

Here are a couple of pic's and the link to the album on my ning page: 1718-6p

And, finally, the Trifecta itself:

Enjoy!

I can't remember seeing three finer sibling guitars in my life. What an awesome portrait!

Congrats, my friend...

If that doesn't make the 2010 calendar nothing will. Amazing.

Not that we're counting, but how many new ones does that make?

Beautiful guitars, Mike. Wish I had a 1758-6p.

Lovely, way to go Mike.

A 22-year quest comes to a close.

Time for the next quest right? ;)

Maybe 4 but who's counting? Several others in progress...I also sold/traded the same number so I'm even...

Very nice. I'd be very content with blonde twins. You're going to need to add on to your house or build a barn or something in those W.V. woods.

I used to have a bunch of -5 guitars...the last one, for the moment, went north to Ohio this week...a fabulous 1758-5...oh well, you can't keep them all and I decided to settle on what I really wanted to keep...and yes Brad, I need a specific guitar room...lol

PS...a very special -5 is waiting for me in NJ, so technically, I guess I still have one...
