Found a piece of wood and a small hammer
loosened strings
placed wood on offending fret ( pushing strings aside )
tapped with hammer on wood
tuned up |

Location: Boise, Idaho | A bit more detail: follow the string up to find the offending fret. With a single high fret, you'll get the same note on two frets. Or use a good straight edge and it will rock on the high fret. If it's just one fret you can do with Flic said. If it's more than one, your neck may need adjustment or you might just need to add a shim or use heavier strings. |
