I've been reading rave reviews of the new Fishman acoustic guitar pedals. Any one here ever try one?

I'm happy with my Line 6 Verbzilla for a LOT less $$$.
Then again, I don't play in the professional arena either!

Yes!, to restate the question, then:
WHAT IS YOUR REVERB OF CHOICE?

(I find that my Boss is a bit metallic and fake-sounding)

1963 Fender tube Reverb Unit. I have two and love them dearly.

As good for acoustic as for electric (Fender RU, that is)?

Fishman is supposed to be as good a unit as is out there....warm and transparent. At your level of playing, I wouldn't skimp

Kaki King thinks so. She uses a Vibro King amp which has the tube reverb unit built into its chassis.

I use a Fishman afx chorus. It is clean and sounds good, but it was $$$. Not sure if it was worth the extra bucs for my skill level. Don't get me wrong, I like it, just that it was very expensive and an ac power supply was extra !
