It features two twin rail HB's with Volume, Tone, 3 way and three additional ON/ON switches. Wiring Puzzle Album Since there wasn't a User's manual that came with these I have a few questions: 1) What are the switch functions? 2) Is my schematic drawn correctly? 3) What THEHELLWEREYOUGUYSSMOK'N when you decided to grab any color wire in the bin and only use two colors on a four wire pickup? Anyway, I want to document this wiring scheme for posterity and plagerize the heck out of it as well. A reward to the one that can deliver the best Schematic rendering and explaination!

The other is probably an in phase outta phase along with the pickup selector and master volume and tone. I think it is the original wiring, don't see and spots where it was redone, you can always spot those.

As for the dichromatic wiring- that would befuddle me, also!! I wired up a 6-switch system on a 3-PUP Tele a few years ago. Do the math on how many permutations of signal combo's you get there!

What I found interesting, besides the sounds from the UKII/PF setup, was that in all of the Seymour Duncan, Stewmac and GuitarElectronics schematics they didn't have this. As a matter of fact they rarely have anything exactly as Ovation did it. Things like .022 and .044 caps and the variety of placements. How much of this was on purpose and how much was to use up the odd Milspec Helo parts?
