But when you come here and tell the world's leading experts that it's worth over $1000 when we know it's not, you can expect a certain amount of ridicule. It's not gonna fetch $1000. |

Arthur - Go wash your mouse out with soap.
Mrs. Frigg - Beal built your freaking guitar.
If you have a pristine early issue White Breadwinner with the Torroidal pickups, side jack, nylon saddles, simple chrome Battery Plate, non-textured Neck Plate with a serial number without the "E" and the tuners aren't damaged or replaced AND the original case (which was not a hard shell) then with good photos and a clear write up you might obtain the $1000 price.
Two years ago yes, today's market is really soft.
This Breadwinner
just went at $456.00
Here's mine:
And then, there are the Deacons:

Specially with those stinkin Black Plastic Tuners on the early O's. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Hey Frigg, I hope you stick around. The folks around here tend to treat everyone as family, which means friendly jabs to the new guy like they've known you for years.
On the other side of the coin you state you "know nothing about guitars especially electric ones" and want to know "is there any one out there that can help me with some information?"
The only truely legit answer to this question is "yes", and I'm sure that would have appeared as a smart-ass answer. If you would read the email you received when you signed up, or the FAQ, or most of the search results, you should have realized this is THE place with information about your guitar most notably from those who built them and those others who collect them.
I'm going to close this topic so maybe we can try this again (I really hope you stick around). You ask the same or more directed question, and the folks will try to remember that there are new people here everyday, and while on one hand treating everyone like family seems like a good idea... maybe not always appropriate, especially when someone is likely not even part of the culture (know nothing about guitars).
Scene 6,433... take two. |
