Ouch. I met him during his Commander Cody days and to be honest I never knew he was with the Miller Band.

That's really too bad. I read that of all forms of cancer, lung cancer has exactly the SAME survival rate as it did 40 years ago. The number of cases is down as less and less people smoke, but if you get diagnosed today your chances of survival are no better than they were 40 years ago.

Didn't know him, but the part about having radiation for tumors in the brain hit home. Cancer is scary stuff.

He was a good one. Too bad it wasn't Steve Miller and not him, another highly overated guitarist. But Norton, COULD play the harp.
