Was cleaning the guitars and laid them side by side bowl down on the carpet. The '90 1768 is over an inch deeper than the book elite. Specs say they are both deep bowl CA. Any insights? Thanks

Could be the carpet pad is crushed. Was one in a high traffic area?

After comparing to my 1617 it appears the 1768 is "extra deep".

There was a mid-depth Book Elite? Could there also have been super shallow Book Elite?
