I've been fortunate enough to be an early evaluator for the "BagAmp" , a new model that is conceptually similar to the Fishman SoloAmp. You can find a bunch of user comments over on the AG Forum .

I just noticed that one of the BagAmp\'s endorsing artists is a guy names Dan Roten , who is also an Ovation aficionado.

Thought you guys might be interested.

We know Dan well [12stringer], although I haven't see any recent posts.

For those of you who did not catch it the first time around, here's a little introduction to Dan ... courtesy of the Member's Night Out Vol. 2 disc from the OFC.

A very moving song, extremely well performed:
This Moment With You - Dan Roten

Dan, congrats on your success! Hope all is well!

Here's a quick demo of the BagAmp .

This was made with my LAV-Koa. There are three sections: the guitar played acoustically, the guitar played through my Marshall AS50R, and the guitar played through the BagAmp.

Each section has a brief part played fingerstyle, followed by a few bars of strumming.
