Sitting in a high school biology class, I had pretty girls sitting at the desks on either side of me, a blonde and a brunette. I wrote out a quick "want to go out with me next Saturday night?" note and started to hand it to the blonde on my left (my preference as it was all part of the surf scene) and just as she started to take it, she blew a huge bubble from her bubble gum. I pulled back on the note and thought to myself, no freakin' way she's blowing bubbles on the new upholstery I just installed in my '57 Ford so I turned to the brunette watching all this and handed her the note. Four years later we were married.Interesting how sometimes one little tweek of a decision can lead you to unexpected things.

I've had two Ovation guitars around since the late 70's, but being primarily a bassist, just never thought about networking too much until I got another in Jan. '05. Then the bass, then the latest guitar last month. Next thing you know, I'm obsessed! I don't usually say too much, but have always found the info I needed when I ask, and in general, really like it here, and even when I'm quiet, I'm here at least a few times a day, every day.

I looked at some of the ovations in your signatures and most of you DEFINATELY have more than one ovation that you posted about when you joined....makes me wonder what I have gotten myself into. LOL! I just joined....whatever that means.

There are some really nice Ovation models out there. 05, 01 and 97 Collectors, FD14, many electrics and a bunch of Adamas models come to mind.

Now Al helps me and many others keep up our three Adamas habit a year going. I don't even remember my old life now. Randy

I used to work with drug addicts and marveled at how they'd end up using 2 grams of heroin per day (which would probably kill a small horse). They sort of got there gradually. Since joining I've laid down some money on a second Adamas, you mean that won't be the last? Don't tell SWMBO.
