If anyone has a spare OPP around that is in good working order, I'd like to buy it, if you can offer it up at a fair price. I checked with Kim on a new one, but if there's a good one out there wasting away, I can put it to good use.

This feels like a silly question right out of the chute.. but... here goes...

For what guitar? and who's original patent?

Wow ... I thought I knew the answer to this but now I wonder if it's a trick question. But here goes anyway ... I'm sure I have an OPP in my Ultra but it's not spare and it still sounds great. And I believe there is a newly remade OPP in my 1651(JL3) but it's not spare either. Getting a new one from the factory might be a really good thing - while they stayed true to the original design, manufacturing techniques have improved. Ovation made a pretty big deal about bringing them back a few years ago and the overall electronics package on the JL3 sounds really, really good.

It would be this style. This is a stereo pickup. I want to replace it with the non-stereo pickup.

That one migrated over to the Adamas LongNeck.

The tea-dyed bone saddle resides on the CBalladeer . . .
