Location: CA | . . . at least I don't think so. This seems like a great deal and I may try to con SWMBO into at least letting me call about it. However, the seller apparently doesn't know he has what appears to me to be a Custom Legend. I could not positively ID it using the Ovation Guitars archive. Do any of you recognize the real model number? And is that truss rod cover 'stock'?

Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | I could be wrong, but I think it's a custom build of some sort. The TRC is the same as that on the Ovation Patriot I believe. The diamond inlays on the bridge are something new to me at least. If it's as vintage as the Patriots, it might pre-date the production Custom Legends.
Needs some real work though. That crack looks pretty glaring and the neck binding is not only missing from the mustache, but is coming away near the nut.
Still, could well be worth the effort for a potentially rare instrument.
But then again, I'm not an expert on vintage Ovations. :rolleyes: |

Location: CA | Thanks Jonmark, the one in the ad is definitely the same. (Oddly, the 1619 on the Ovation archive does not have the same inlays.)
