...to pick up some strings. I took a walk into the Acoustic room. The first thing that caught my eye was Patch's old 1117 sitting there. I played it, and then played a bunch of higher end Martins, and back to the 1117. It smoked them. Full sounding bass, good mids, nice highs. The salesman saw me playing it and said he is the one that keeps it in the humidor because of how great it sounds. It does sound great.

It still listed for $699... very tempting.

That was a nice one. Offer them less, they'll still make a little cash in the deal. And don't let them tell you I didn't trade in the case. ;)
