Location: SoCal | Saturday nite we had 2 couples over for dinner. Both husbands are guitar players but one of them (Don Segien) is one of the best guitar/mando/bass players I've ever seen.
I set up my 1773LX downstairs with the Phil Jones amp I got from Stephen (just turned up enough to be heard thru the steel strings). Don, who comes from a country music background started playing latin jazz and never put the guitar down. It was incredible! That guitar and amp were made for each other and I felt like just giving them to
Don at the end of the evening 'cause I'd never to them justice (of course, I didn't).
Really something to see and hear.... |

Location: SoCal | The Ovation's not a classical guitar. It's a nylon string. Big difference..... |

...and something I've been meaning to find out. Is the Ovation Nylon string neck skinnier that a classical guitar or same as....?
K, went online and looked, then measured my Baladeer with the calipers. (I'm a closet geek.....but it's a big closet.) Yeah, I need me one of them! |
