Saturday nite we had 2 couples over for dinner. Both husbands are guitar players but one of them (Don Segien) is one of the best guitar/mando/bass players I've ever seen.

I set up my 1773LX downstairs with the Phil Jones amp I got from Stephen (just turned up enough to be heard thru the steel strings). Don, who comes from a country music background started playing latin jazz and never put the guitar down. It was incredible! That guitar and amp were made for each other and I felt like just giving them to
Don at the end of the evening 'cause I'd never to them justice (of course, I didn't).

Really something to see and hear....

The Ovation's not a classical guitar. It's a nylon string. Big difference.....

What I was trying to say here was that with what was being played on it, my 1773LX was in it's element....

So I'm confused Moody... Were your guests in MV or FLA?

...and something I've been meaning to find out. Is the Ovation Nylon string neck skinnier that a classical guitar or same as....?

K, went online and looked, then measured my Baladeer with the calipers. (I'm a closet geek.....but it's a big closet.) Yeah, I need me one of them!
