Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | The 6868 arrived a few minutes ago, along with a check for the balance on the 1680.
It seems I was premature in my fears. Willa has been at the hospital with her sick Mom for the past week. She told me her home answering machine is broken so she didn't get the messages I left on it. Of course in a hospital you are not allowed to use a cell phone, and although she got the last message that I left yesterday morning, the one I sent earlier in the week either didn't come through, or perhaps I dialed wrong. I'll know when I get my phone bill.
Although Willa borrowed her brother's laptop and posted on the OFC and Facebook, she did not check her emails while she was online, so she didn't get the several emails I had sent. I believe it was when I got in touch with a friend of hers that she realized I was trying so hard to contact her.
I hope that both Willa and the rest of you here on the OFC will understand why I thought what I thought. BUT I WAS WRONG. I would like to publicly apologize to Willa, and to the rest of you. Willa is on the up and up, and I will be happy to do business with her again, and I encourage all of you to feel that you can deal with Willa WITH COMPLETE CONFIDENCE.
Willa, please accept my apology, and know that I send along best wishes for your mother's recovery.
Now, I would like to ask all of you here, PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS POST!! I have asked Al to lock this thread, but until he does, please honor this request. I welcome (and I'm sure Willa does too) any PMs or emails on the subject, but I'm sure that both Willa and I, not to mention Miles and Al, have had enough public controversy for one week.
