| Hey guys, a few days ago I came across this thread where someone posted a link to an "interesting way of determining loose braces". I don't remember the exact wording, and have done searches on "brace" and "loose" and so on, but I can't find it. Does anyone remember which thread it was? Maybe I'm just blind. Anyhow, I've discovered this odd buzz today when playing 12th and 9th fret on the low E string, and you've probably had panic moments like this of your own ... |

| Oh right, thanks! Not only did I forget the wording, but also that it wasn't a link. *blush*
I've tried checking the braces in that manner (thumb on body), yet didn't get any result.
The buzz is obviously some form of resonance, because it just occurs on the E' on the low E-String. But what could it be other than a loose brace? Or would that buzz all the time? |
