Location: Caribou, ME | Unholy unions do exist. Somewhere there's a '72 1111 with a Matrix neck that was my fault. That was two ebay purchases rammed together.
In '87 I bought an AA-14 for five bucks with a broken neck. Try to picture what horror that thing must have gone through to break it's neck. I called Ovation and asked if they would sell me a leftover Applause neck from the warehouse, hoping one even existed. After some begging, they sent me a neck. Imagine my surprise when it said Ovation on the headstock. I didn't know what a Matrix was at the time. So there's at least one Applatrix out there. |
