Now that would be a site to see! :D

I have a feeling that organizing a get together is like trying to herd cats!

Go look in the archives for 2006 and check out the NW Gathering thread. I think that went on for about a year and more than a dozen pages. Probably only about a page of actual planning, though.

Hmmm,
Been to Syracuse a few times when my brother went to the Univ., Been to Lake George a few times. I work for the the people up in Albany although I've never been there. I could probably take pictures because I can't play guitar. Just like the OFC Tours.

I could take your picture, as I can't play guitar either.

I never thought of Albany as a OFC gathering place although I work in Albany. I guess it is because I really take Albany for granted.

Whadda think about these candidates for a gathering:

Syracuse (burbs, definitely not downtown)
Fingerlakes Region (Ithaca or Lake Owasco -- stayed at places in both areas)
Saratoga
Lake George
Albany
Woodstock (the Woodstock museum is about an hour drive from there)

As I would only (at this time) be able to come for the day, Albany( tuns out 2hrs) or Woodstock (2 1/2 hrs) would be my choice, but, if others want it elsewhere then you need to do what would be best/easiest for the majority.

Well, that's what I'm trying to do, which is to see what would be best or easiest for the majority. But I'm having trouble doing that -- the brain doesn't seem to want to work today.

I'm sorry that Patriot didn't come with all my Croce songs in it, Michelle. I tried to send a dvd along. I practiced for days, spent hours setting up and getting ready. I even made sure I didn't have a gay shirt on like dark bar. It takes me a long time to figure out how to use the camera, since I don't use it much. I tried to find a remote starter for it, but couldn't. During my sound check, I flubbed the intro to New York's Not My Home and decided to just box up the damn guitar and ship it. I hope that all you folks enjoy that guitar as much as I did. It plays as well as my 1537, which is excellent, but it has more of the traditional Ovation sound that I really like.

Well, Mark, I have a feeling that the Patriot will get passed around at an OFC gathering as much as a new baby at a family reunion. Or a bottle on a tour bus :D

No problem about the Jim Croce songs. I'll just have to learn them for myself!
