Joined: May 2009 Posts: 364 Location: Bellevue, Washington | I picked up a wonderful 1685-7 12 string from TJ last week and it arrived safe and sound yesterday here in Bellevue. I've never owned an Adamas, played a couple at Woody's house last year and even with the shallow bowl 12 he had, I was surprised at just how great it sounded and how LOUD it was! I'd read many times on this forum about Adamas' and how great they sound, but figured that my wood-tops should sound just as good. The Ovation wood topped 12 string I owned last year sounded amazing and I have to admit, I didn't think this carbon-fiber topped guitar would come close to it. I'm not so proud that I can't admit just how wrong I was ;) This guitar is amazing, need I say more? Thanks TJ! P.S. Time to look for a little brother for this fellow I think...

I have a bunch of wood tops too, and each of THEM has a different sound. Different guitars sound better on different songs. I keep learning new songs so I'll have an excuse to buy more guitars!
