A bracing works so well on steel strings. Originally posted by moody, p.i.: I just finished fishing around with my fingers as my little mirror is at work. It's A-braced. (My favorite. "I've got to admit, the more I think about it, the more I think I'll need to reinforce the leading edge of the bridge to prevent grooving. (I don't like ball-end nylon strings because there is still a small part of me that stubbornly clings to tradition, and I never know when it will rear its withered little head.) I'm just not sure the best way to do it. Suggestions?"

Wouldn't you like to see a one of these along with an Adamas or 2 in your local high end guitar store. I just got to believe they would sell... but then again I bought Compuware stock at $30.

Invariably the answer is that the market's tough out there, they don't sell, etc. But they DO take them occasionally in trade, and I have seen guitars from $1,500 to $2,500 appear in there from trade-ins. THOSE guitars RARELY last there more than a week. You know this is just a fine example of what Ovation can produce. I have to believe that Patch's gorgeous custom job would be gone just as soon as the first shopper able to swing it and play it, saw it.

Inlaid in some way? shouldnt the trc be recessed? I swiped the idea from the 2002 collectors which has a cool looking cherry TRC to match its top. John found precisely what I wanted. Truly, I couldn't be more pleased.
