Location: Germany, where delicious wine is growing (Rheinh) | Thanks all,
I've uploaded some more pics on my ning page, link below.
This guitar looks absolutely nice, the materials are very well choosen for it. The sound is loud and clear with it's own character and a good bass.
Normally I have little problems with the narrow fingerboards, but this one plays very fine. The neck doesn't feels as fast as an gloss one, but I love it, too. It's natually finished walnut.
It's agreat guitar at all, if you can get one, try it, you won't be disapointed.

Location: Boise, Idaho | I've only had a chance to do a quick comparison, playing the intro to Operator on the 2010, 87C, 1537 and the 04 Commemorative CL. I expected the 2010 to sound like the 1537, but it was quite a bit different. Much more crisp and not as deep. It sounded closest to the 87. Not surprising I guess when you look at them together.
Since the strings were different brands and ages, this wasn't a really valid comparison, but the 2010 does hold its own with some of the best. I also thought the pictures might make the top look lighter than it is, but the Adirondack spruce is almost white. |
