my son just bought one from Al.

you're right....killer prices for a good guitar.

I think I paid more (or close to the same) for just the iDea preamp when it first came out.

It's like getting the guitar for free.

Got the preamp and downloaded all available backing tracks from the website. Noodling along with the tracks is a great way to spend time working on technique without wasting the time of the rest of the band. Personally, I go for the Latin and blues rhythms. I'm still trying to figure out what to do on the rock stuff.

JUst got Justin's in yesterday and of course I had to open it to make sure there was not any hidden damage! ;)

You know, for under $300 with the iDea preamp, these are just a freakin bargain!!

Plays nice and sounds pretty good.

Stephen, try sticking the iDea preamp in something a bit more upscale, like the OFC-II. Its a nifty little unit. The fact you get the guitar with it is just icing.

Brad, I bought the iDea preamp when they first came out and paid almost as much for the preamp alone as Justin did for this combo.

I actually had my iDea in the 2080D 6 string last night through the GBenz. After a bit I swapped it back out for the VIP that came with the 2080D.

Interesting comparison of the sound between the 2 preamps.

OMA....my son wanted/got the grey one.

Again, I have to say these are just a freakin bargain for what you get!!!

I ordered Justin's on Friday from Al and had it on Tuesday.
Great price and great service!

I got black.
For the price its good guitar.
Sounds OK ....
Good for the current price but I would not paid $599 for it.
My ear may be spoiled by the USA guitars.

Made in China.
fit and finish is good
Having to plug in to turn on is a pain.

Its great deal at the sale price.
I like it.

"Having to plug in to turn on is a pain."

Y'know if you just plug something into the Headphone jack, the tuna works...

But you still have to plug something into it, and it is a pain.
Same with the VIP though...
