I don't know about the epaulets, but I heard they had satin chrome tuners with ebony buttons. I think they were schallers but with the Ovation logo.

Satin chrome? Like pewter? I believe Stephen had these installed on his twins. Only ones I've ever seen in this finish.

If it's the one I was thinking of, it had black wood eppies and they had one on the bay a while ago. Listed as a special made for Sam Ash, limited edition. Got mixed reviews here as to cosmetics.

Just a variation on an otherwise very common theme. I like it. It begs for a two-tone custom leather strap the repeats the color theme of the top and epis.
