Joined: October 2004 Posts: 256 Location: chicago | Wondering if this story is one of commonality,six months ago I went into sam ash to buy a set of uke strings,so I said to the sales guy wow you guys dont carry any high end ovations do you? he said just this one this guy dropped off yesterday.... so bam the cherryburst legend that sat under someones bed for fiffteen years came home with me that night,along with the original intended purchase aset of uke strings...total $450 w/ case $4.50 for uke strings.Happy for you bro!! I asked about them and was told that they were "Mr. Ash's private collection." I then asked why they had that amazing collection of Ovations hanging up there, yet they only had a few lower-end Ovations for sale. That's when they stopped talking to me… | ||
