It was a 2080 with a shiney contour bowl (I'm guessing that it's a hand laid bowl as well). I'm amazed to say this, but it was one of the best sounding Adamii I've ever played. Full, smooth sound. Rich bass and crisp highs. I had never really played one before and was truly amazed. Wonderful sound. To all of you who have been smart enough to buy one -- way to go!

With that 1 3/4 nutwidth a cannot believe it hasn't been snatched up by someone yet. The good thing about it is you still get to play it until it goes.

The good thing about it is you still get to play it until it goes. I picked up one of my 2080's last night (I have two 2080's and an OFC II) and fell in love again. What a gorgeous sound! It compares favorably with the OFC II and is so pure and ringing and full and rich. It projects hugely, and plays beautifully at any volume. It's funny -- my first 2080 was one of my very first guitars. I've picked up some 15-20 more guitars since then -- mostly Ovations, but I could've stopped at the first 2080 and been pretty much ok. And that's with the understanding that I have an OFC II as well! I have only one more itch...I want Gallerinski's wide-neck 2080. For me that would be the ultimate guitar. The glorious playability of the FD-14 (one of my OTHER favorites!) and the drop-dead gorgeous sound of the 2080.

It's my very first YouTube video ever, and I had no idea how to produce one or what to do...I just knew I had to at LEAST make one! Sooooo...bottom line: apologies for the crappy quality of the video and the playing -- it does NOT show the 2080 at its best, and that is NOT the 2080's fault!
