Wet the piece of sponge and then wring it out so that it is damp, not dripping wet. Put the sponge in the baggie and the baggie in your case.

The Ovation bowls are waterproof, so I guess the sponge could be placed by the heel of the neck. Don't think I'd want it near the electronics (if applicable). Some cases are pretty tight, so I'm thinkin' placement near the body is probably the most advantageous.

Poke a few holes in the top. There should be holes in the bottom. Get one of the wife's sponges, wet it, wring it out so it's only damp, throw it in the soap dish. Put it up near the peg head, and you're good to go. Also, apropos to the mineral oil thread, you'll find if you wipe on some oil, the small cracks will close up. Wipe on the oil after you've left the soap dish in the case for a week.

I emptied the acc compartment and propped it open slightly with 2 soap caddy thingies inside. the 1778 case allows for the caddy to sit under headstock so i placed one there. my cigars stay put in the aristocrat plus humidor.
