This performence with Ovation guitars proves once again that they are the very best tool for playing guitar. These guys could have played any guitar they wanted, but only the Ovation could do the job,and they knew it. Notice the Ovation "Smirk" they get knowing the next big strum will be there. I know it well.

Let's face it, there's not a lot of Ovation players from back in the hay day that are still in the stable. I think. And let's face it, Jon isn't really known for his guitar skills and Richie ain't that much ahead of him. Tim in Tidewater has a really nice double-neck like that with the stars and all. It played really nice for such a monster.

In a very polite way, he lets everyone know he appreciates all the people trying to learn his tunes.... posting "how to play it" clips on YouTube... but apparently THIS is how it's SUPPOSED to be played. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ65_nyIGac
