Location: Germany | Have you ever seen one in sunburst? I purchased this one from a fellow OFCer in Wisconsin. It has no finish cracks or any bigger cosmetical issues. Nevertheless it made a trip back to the mothership and they brought it back to a near mint condition.
What can I say? For me it's the best looking wood-top Ovation ever made. The sunburst matches perfectly to the wooden binding, epis and the walnut fretboard. I can sit for hours in front of it. It's feast for the eyes.
And the sound is stunning! Very similiar to my Adamas 1688 but more mellow (I assume due to the wooden top).
You can find some pics here. Thanks again Jerome for your help.
Folks, I'm very happy with it!

Congrats on a special git! |
