I think we're gonna get the other book to Miguel, he's been waiting on it longer than I have.
(Refer to the other book post)
That way he doesn't have to wait for it to wade through us before going to him.
I have plans for the other book but they would actually be better served if that copy went to Miguel 1st so it would come to me when I'm back home in Tennessee rather than here in Virginia.

I pm'd james allready, "this" book will go out to him Monday or Tuesday.

James and Miguel have been pm'd.
I think this'll all work out now.........

Carol will have to get in touch with ksdaddy or vice versa when it is closer to leaving ksdaddy so they can make arrangements but I think the Ireland-Brazil-Tennessee leg will work out just fine.

Could be a good excuse for a little road trip to Maine...although I'm not going all the way up to Caribou!

Standing I have the book and will get the author to sign it before I send it out. I will try to get it signed this week and send it out.
You can PM me with your address. I have a friend at the Ryman and I will try to take a picture of it on the Ryman Stage.

This is interesting. I started sending an Ovation History Book around several years back. The only thing I remember at this point is that I signed it on the inside of the cover "James F. Smith" (and asked all that followed to do the same). I sent it to an address in FL.

But I have no idea if this is the same book or not. I'd love to get it back just to see where the heck it's been all these years.

I know that if I had seen it, I would have signed it "James F. Smith" and sent it on as directed. Why did you want us all to sign your name?
Actually, I'm not sure I ever saw one other than the one at Alison's last summer. I have my own. If there was one going around with Jeff W's wooden roundback, I passed it down to Gallerinski or the alter ego that was living in his house at the time.

I've seen one or both books several times. One was at Mile's last year, Alison's this year, and didn't one show up at one of the factory tours? I couldn't understand why the book was only being signed by people named James F. Smith. This string clears that up.

So many comedians out of work and you guys are trying to be funny...lol.

Well, where ever the book is, it certainly has a lot of miles on it by now.

All I know is that the copy I had has traveled more than I ever will. It came from SD, then to NY and on to Australia!

There's at least one other book out there.
