Brown delivered today: Pristene 1963 Gibson SG Special w/ditto 1963 Gibson Skylark GA5T amp: the case even included the original Mel Bay lesson books and other treasure straight from 1963...also included the original Allen wench to adjust the stop tailpiece/bridge combo...

I have never seen a cleaner SG except for my original Special in '67; and this is a '63:

The headstock is perfect: clean, sharp, original lined Klusons are spotless:

It sounds great: P90's are clean and chimey and when the amp is pegged, have a great natural overdriven honk w/ lot's of sustain...and that's only this amp (4.5 watts)...hooked up to my Laney Lionheart or Marshall it will sustain a note until I get tired...

Here is the updated album: 1963 Gibson SG Special and Skylark Amp Set

Thanks so much to: 1. the enabler who made this possible...(and tempted me) and 2. SWMBO for really liking this guitar and loving me in spite of it...

Hope you enjoy looking at the pic's...

No, it's the same one...after delivery...better pic's...
The odds of finding one in this condition are incredible...but two? Even I might be skeptical about that...

Yeah it's a nice guitar, although I never liked them, but what do I know, just an old gas man.
You should make out really well when you flip it.

Isn't "Deja Vu 2" sort of redundent ?

Depends on the context...
I suppose in retrospect I could have titled it "Deja Vu Tu"...
whatever floats the boat...
