According to netlingo.com,
IAT = I am tired.
IAFT adds an adjective.

IAFT they're making new models, or IAFT the website caught up with the program?

Well, the old 2080-NWT is listed as more expensive than the new 2080SR and includes a description which appears to actually be about a 1687, so who knows?

The original 2080 is a spectacular guitar, I always thought the only way it could possibly be improved would be a hand-laid fiberglass bowl, suspended top, and maybe a slot-head. (Heck, add a boost button to that mix and Al thought of it a long time ago…) ;)

I'd like to try the new version, but it would have to be pretty magical to get me to consider "upgrading."

WTF??

The only way the new 2080 would be better would be with the 12 fret neck of the departed 1680. A slothead, wide neck 12 fret 2080 would be oh so cool....
