I just ran across this juicy item and I don't see any discussion of it here. Anybody had their hands on this one yet? Or maybe the non-cutaway in the video I saw with Rick Hall? |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Hi BHB... There are still plenty of USO's on the used market.
Here is a Sigler eBay listing for the Non-Cutaway with Rick and Matt...
This is the cool one...
The cutaway seems to be being peddled in HoneyBurst.
But I am sure that you can order it any color you like.
Oh, to answer the question... I played one at the Roadshow.
I only played it for a bit and I didn't plug-it-in.
Then I passed it off to someone who acted like they might buy something.
It was a nice sounding guitar. |

Location: SoCal | I played one at a roadshow. Very impressive guitar. Might be better than a 1537 with time to open up. The slightly deeper body makes a big difference as does the fiberglass bowl.
I'd get it with a deep bowl, but that's personal preference. If I were in the market for a wood topped O, this would be a contender.
Last night a couple of friends were over to play. One brought his Martin OM-42 Koa. Beautiful guitar, great sound. I had the opportunity to hear it at the same time as another friend was playing my rebuilt, A braced Legend. I'd give the OM a slight edge in sound. Is it worth almost 4 times the money? That's why I was asking who was playing the 04 Custom Legend...... |
