Ok, I know the answer but I'm still holding out that there's a cure.

I just received via Fleabay an OP Pro with can and pickup. The Op Pro has the continuous Batt light on unless the battery is removed.

Have there been any easy cures or remedies for this or do I need to send it back?

Sounds like an internal switch. The first thing I would do is clean everything with one of those cans of compressed air. If that doesn't work and there's nothing obvious externally, the only people I can think of who would know the answer would be the factory people.

The light is red and it is on even when the preamp is out of the guitar.

Contacted Seller and they have another one to swap out.
Looked inside and its all circuit board with a wax like coating.

Put it back together (hope no one notices) and send it back.

And I have never seen a green light on an OP-Pro...
Am I missing something?

"Just the 70's".....I'm more than familiar with that concept. Mind-over-matter: "If you don' mind; it don' matter."
Smart lad, Michael- as you have stated, your soldering permit was revoked some time ago.

Hey, if it weren't for the smoke detectors how would we know that dinner was ready?
