She'll be playing solo acoustic. Instruments include her signature Adamas, a Holloway harp guitar, a Veillette Gryphon miniature 12 string, a Russian style 7 string with fanned frets built by Andrew White, as well as other unusual instruments. Here's a YouTube with Al Petteway demonstrating it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTqUu1lC9ko Best-- Dave K.

He thinked us for being in the middle of nowhere. Most of us seemed quite proud of that. Oh, his "tour bus" is usually a rental car.

I have very little influence on when and where she tours, but I'll do what I can to influence her booking agents. She did an "in-studio" live interview yesterday at WNYC, the flagship NYC PBS radio station. She talks about her signature Ovation, about the new tour, and plays several of her compositions on different instruments. They've archived it at: http://www.wnyc.org/shows/soundcheck/2011/feb/23/studio-kaki-king/ Best-- Dave K.
