Location: Flahdaw | I just bought a Fishman Loudbox mini. Got a REALLY good deal on it, much better than the already great retail price of $299. For around the house it's really sweet, but I think it could be used for a small venue gig....it's pretty loud, but clean.
The thing is tiny...weighs about 15 lbs. 2 channels, with reverb and chorus. Here is the Review |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Looks like it would work very well as a personal stage monitor, with chorus and reverb, and you can send a balanced signal direct from the amp to the house PA. Cool. Specs say about 19 pounds, so maybe you got the diet model. The older we get, the less we enjoy hauling heavy and cumbersome gear. Small amps like yours, or the ADD Cub (100 watts at 11.5 lbs), really keep the old guys gigging longer without tearing up shoulders, backs, and wrists. Now, if only we could remember things like where we put the set list, the address of the gig, restocking the gig bag, etc. |
