Location: Connecticut		Hello, All! I just picked up a really nice Adamas 1897 SMT. Sorry for my ignorance, but what does the SMT stand for????

Location: closely held secret		Can't remember what the acronym stands for, but SMT is Unidirectional Carbon Fiber Top.
CVT is Crossweave Carbon Fiber Top.
