Location: Round Rock, TX | I've tried vinegar, ozium, febreeze pet, everything the pet store has to offer, professional cleaners, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and others to numerous to mention. I have come to the conclusion that the only way to truly and permanently get rid of cat urine odor is to throw away the item they peed on and get another one. |

(No pun intended, but it's a good one so I'll leave it.) Now we are back to my feti.....er...ulterior motive. But sadly, the spare case I had sold yesterday. Good luck. :) |

Location: Montana | An update - I am pleased to announce that vanilla-scented Ozium did the trick! I doused the case and left it closed for a month and no odors! Well, except a strong vanilla ... |

Location: Alagoas, Brazil | Here in Brazil cats have two main utilities: 1) Their skin is used to make small samba drums; 2) street vendors sell their meat as a cheap barbecue.

Location: Utah | Just a word of caution to be careful with spraying chemicals near a guitar or other instrument. My son sprayed some kind of deoderant into his new violin case to kill the slight glue smell. It destroyed the clear plastic lens on the hygrometer. Luckily his violin was not in the case at the time! Anything strong enough to attack a plastic could be hazardous to an instrument's finish. |

Location: Tennessee | I prefer the Lyrachord-scented Ozium. Makes your Ovation smell brand new. Glad it worked out for you! |
