Has anyone approached the Mothership about a non standard body shape? I know that everything has a price, but there is some engineering and mold makeing behind this too,,,,

I have an idea, but proa=bably out of this world in price

Ya never know 'til ya ask!

I never have, but there are some here who've had lots and lots of customizations...a non-standard body shape may be in that mix somewhere.

Good luck!

Body shape of the Gianini Craviola. I am intreagued by the harpischord like tone. 12 String, wide neck, slot head, Sitka spruce top. Not sure on the bracing pattern...

Do you have any experience working with fiberglass?
It can be done, but you need to ask why...

Giannini had a Fiber Line that copied the Ovation design, and they carried, in this line, a round back Craviola, in the 80's.

Maybe you can find one in Ebay?

I'll keep an eye here, if you're interested.

I'd guess no on any custom body shape that isn't already in a mold or jig somewhere in the factory. A better chance might be something by Hamer upstairs in the corner, but then you'd be limited to a solid or chambered body. Cost, of course, would have to be no object.
