Location: Newington, CT | This is just an astonishing performance. A great instrumentalist, making an instrument absolutely sing with uninhibited abandon! I've been a long time dévoté of Russian folk music, and this really does it for me.
I'm second to very few in my love for guitars, and for Ovation guitars (particularly Adamas), but I love other stringed instruments as well. For example: here .
I'd love to see this guy jam with a Larry Coryell, or Paco de Lucia, or John McLaughlin, or Al DiMeola, or Tommy Emmanuel, or Martin Tallstrom... |

Location: Boston | And speaking of Tommy Emmanuel. He is touring now with his brother Phil and the "Australian All Star band". Fun virtuoso stuff as you can imagine, but when he and phil did a 6 string instrumental duet cover of Mr. Bojangles... well even the bartenders and waitstaff all froze. Simply an amzing musical moment... They captured it on video. If I ever find it I will repost. Just knocked me out... |

Tommy is so versatile, that he could probably just jump in and start playing with the balalaika player right away. |
