I know, you will want to see pictures, but I JUST NOW got a 1960 Guild CE 100. One of my regulars had it and he fell in love with one of my Morgan Monroes. (The Bean Blossom Gettysburg) So we traded straight across. He knows that financially speaking, the Guild is worth a lot more - the Bean Blossom listed for $800 new. But he also knows they don't make 'em anymore and it really does sound better than the Martin HD28 it is mideled after. I had two, so I let this one go.

The Guild is a single cutaway, thick bodied archtop with Franz pickups. (They changed to P90's some time around '63. Most jazz buffs like the sound of the Franz better.) Almost all the ones I saw on line are sunburst. This one is a natural. A couple of small dings, but barely noticable, and it has the original case (in good condition).

I almost feel guilty - I made out like a bandit! I will get some pictures up here soon, but right now I'm going to go put some new strings on it so I can take it home tonight.
