Is SSB the same as what used to be Shallow Bowl? I'm guessing it's a newer invention? If you look at old guitars, the shallow bowls (from the 80's?), are, well...shallow....but if you look on O website, it shows the SSB...which is, well...super shallow..

So is the SSB a lot thinner than an old SB then?
Thanks! |

SSB = 4 1/16"
SB = 5 1/8"
MDB = 5 1/4"
DB = 5 13/16"
Adamas = 6 1/16"
Once ago I found this on Jerome's site....

Aw... Don't make it the Last annoying question.
Annoying questions educate us All.
As to sound difference...
Shallow bowls were for the old Artist and Glen Campbell bowls.
They are Hand-Laid Fiberglas.
The Super-Shallow Bowls are injection-molded, or whatever.
So that contributes to the difference. |

I meant between shallow bowl and mid bowl. Anyone notice any difference playing these two? |
