That's way cool Bobbo.

We should do something like that here on the OFC. Start off with a simple beat, maybe get Cliff to start it off on his cajon, send the file off to the next person, lay another instrument or vocal track on top, on to the next person, and so on...

Thanks Bobbo. Wicked cool. Even SWMBO had to come in and check it out when she heard The Taj.

Taj Mahal does a sweet version of Mockingbird with the assistance of the lovely and talented Etta James. Check it out if you can. (I'd post a link, but I don't know how. :o )

Thanks for the link Bobbo! Lots of great music there. The version of Marley's redemption song is great too. I'm going to pick up the cd/dvd on their website.

Great idea too about doing an OFC version.

No criticism on you, Damon... it was more a statement on that fact that to my knowledge it's never really made it beyond this stage...

Unfortunately it's a much easier concept to imagine than it is to execute (as well as this video was done). Having worked in the video production biz for over 25 yrs, I recognize some of the challenges that had to be overcome to create that music video. Organization, coordination, consistency of the videography and audio recordings, editing (I counted roughly 80 video edits)...

I'm not sayin' it couldn't be done, just that it ain't that easy.

Just deciding which song everyone wants to perform might present the first challenge!

It would be much easier if we all did "Meditation #13"
