WOW! This thing is so comfortable to play. The tone is very balanced. Been playing all night, but it was time to take a few pics and share the love. I tried my best to show off the stretch marks on the top. Hard to capture.

Location: South of most, North of few | That was a steal Damon! You need to update your sig. (and pull that plastic off the pickguard so it looks like a guitar and not a billboard. ;) ) |

You should really like that one, and I guess you do. You can take that film off the p/g now and put your own identifing scratches on it.
I really like those TriAx pickups, I just added one to the Opry yesterday. It really adds something to the amped sound. |

That is one nice looking guitar. And I have a pretty good idea how it plays and sounds. You did REAL on that deal.

In fact, and you can't realize how much of a mind-shift this is for me,... I just might buy one like that someday.
And Damon... please tell me about the camera you are using. |

| The only thing that'll make it better is a set of ebony or buffalo horn bridge pins. Takamine does a great job on their bearclaw. I have to take an updated picture of mine after I changed the pins and pick guard:
Great grab! Glad it stayed in the family. Now let's talk Larrivees and Collings :D ;) |

Location: Jet City | Wow, that's some clawin' going on on that top g8r. Collings, HA! Larrivee, well, those are tempting me every day. It must be the region we're in up here cuz they're all over Craigslist and everything else in the Seattle area. I imagine I'll have to get one eventually.
PLASTIC's OFF. I just thought I'd take a few snapshots 'fore it went.
The TriAx pickup (it's a single coil Capo) sounds surprisingly good. I've not been a fan of soundhole pups in the past, but this one does a nice job as long as I can keep from hitting it with a pic.
Brad, I'm using a Nikon 5700 with a Nikon SB50DX flash on it. Older stuff (funny how a just few years can be considered "older" these days) and pretty cheap to buy used. |
